The Final act of tonight's show was 14 year-old street dancer George Sampson from Warrington. George's return to Britain's Got Talent has been triumphant - and his Singing in the Rain urban mix was a storming success as he swooshed his brolly around amid a torrent of applause!

Once Dec had read out the vote rules and the audience had finally, finally stopped cheering, George said, "That was the best. It doesn't get better than that!"

The judges agreed. Piers gave a history lesson, "Sir Winston Churchill said 'never give up' and you never gave up. You were winning in the rain".

"I want it for you as badly as you do," said Amanda through her tears. And Simon reasoned, "We know this could change your life. You get my vote. You were terrific".

These days there are a lot of small cars pounding their chests and claiming they get the best gas mileage around. Well, we got tired of the talk and decided to settle the score. Right here, right now!

We picked three cars from our long-term fleet known for squeezing extra miles out of every gallon of gas: the spunky 2008 Smart Fortwo with a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine, the thrifty 2008 Ford Focus SES coupe with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta TDI, with its legendary 1.9-liter "TDI" diesel engine. Then we added a heavily favored gasoline-electric hybrid to the mix: a 2008 Toyota Prius.

Brazilian wildcard Bruno Santos has defeated local wildcard Manoa Drollet (PYF) to win the Billabong Pro Tahiti and become the first Brazilian to win an ASP World Tour event in five years.



Santos, who earned his spot in the Billabong Pro Tahiti with a runner-up finish in the Air Tahiti Nui VonZipper Trials held prior to the main event, got the better of local Teahupoo specialist Drollet in their low scoring affair. Santos beat Drollet 9.16 to 6.83 on a borrowed surfboard in inconsistent three-foot (one metre) waves.

Santos defeated last year’s World No. 1 Mick Fanning (AUS), World No. 2 Taj Burrow and 2001 ASP World Champion C.J. Hobgood (USA), among others, en route to his victory over Drollet.

Basshunter is a Swedish bedroom DJ/producer, a cyber geek who wrote a song about an experience with meeting a girl on the internet. The girl was called Anna, and the song 'Boten Ana'.

Basshunter sent it to his friends on the web, who forwarded to their friends, and so on until it ended up in the hands of a local radio DJ who played it out on air. After its first airing the station was inundated with phone calls to play it again and they added it to their playlist.

The track then went crazy, the whole of Sweden got caught up in the story about his love for a girl on the internet, and when it was released in Scandinavia it became the fastest selling debut single since Abba, and Basshunter their biggest selling debut artist ever!

Through word of mouse, the track spread and it became number 1 in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg - the first ever Swedish language hit in these countries. Germany were next, the song went top 10, something only Cascada & Eric Prydz have managed from In the summer of 2007 and an English vocal version 'Now you're Gone' has become the most requested record in summer holiday resorts around Europe, due to it being the lead track on a mix cd by DJ Alex. As people return from their holiday's in Magaluff and surrounding islands desperate to get their hands on a copy it's clear that the Basshunter phenomenon is about to hit the UK!
